Player Piano

Utilizing the historical oddity of a player piano, Rose manipulates the "technology" of this instrument, resulting in a new musical language rich with the artist's aesthetic concerns and emotional resonance.  With this project, Rose brings his work out of the recording studio and into the public sphere, exposing his own musical processes that have developed around this instrument while presenting the inherent historical beauty of the instrument itself.
